Skyjacker’s Sire Arentino was competed in Prix St. George dressage and did also really well in showjumping. Arentino’s Sire Santiago by Wie Ibikus and out of the foundation mare Schwalbelied was Champion of his grading in 1980 and was a very substantial big framed grandson of the legendary stallion Ibikus, which went on to become a very good showjumper. Wie Ibikus himself produced a big number of high successful dressage horses competing up to Grand Prix. Santiago produced some outstanding broodmares and the value can be seen in his offspring’s competition results. 

Arentino’s Dam Arktis II presents herself as one of the valuable broodmares of the trakehner breed, being a full sister to the stallion Arogno, sire of the stallions Schwadroneur (now dead) and Anky’s stallion Partout. Arktis’s offspring are doing well in 3-day eventing and dressage competing in Prix St. Georges.  

Singing Skyjackers dam Schwalbenfreude is by the sire Sir Shostakovich xx (now deceased 2004) not only founded a new young stallion line through his sons Donaumonarch, Sir Chamberlain, Couleurfurst, Zenturio, Mataro, Chateauneuf and Best Before Midnight, but he also produced some of the most successful competition lines like the International three-day-event-horses Longchamps (Olympic Sydney 2001) and Lester Piggott. 

Schwalbenfreude’s Dam Schamar is a full sister to the famous Schwalbenlust (now deceased 2004), one of the real great ladies of the Trakehner breed. She counted among the highest quality brood mares when alive and was Supreme Champion of several National shows. Schamar herself was competing successfully in dressage and show jumping up to advanced level. Schamar’s mother Schwalbenburg by Ibikus “the most influential and highest quality brood mare over the last 40 years “as breeding manager Lars Gehrmann called her,” produced among the four graded sons Schwadroneur by Arogno, so this makes Schamar a ½ sister to Schwadroneur now deceased (2004). Schamar’s sire Enrico Caruso is the Sire of Kostolany, who became foundation sire in breeding and performing. Enrico’s influence as a producer of competition horses is enormous. In North- America he became Elite and is looked at as a foundation sire of the American Trakehner breed, sire of international successful performance horses in all disciplines including the hunter circuit. He founded in Europe and America his own stallion line and left a big herd of high quality producing broodmares.
