Habari (meaning “How are you” in Swahili) is a ½ brother to the graded stallion Singing Horatio. This boy is a real stunner and should have a very good chance of grading here in the Uk as he is a better colt than his wonderful brother Horatio. 

Habari’s sire Chabrol is by Alter Fritz, which is a powerful son by Chardonnay with impressive movements, excellent action and a lot of suppleness. In good harmony with his body Chardonnay knows how to please his rider. He was the Reserve Champion of the Trakehner championship for young riding horses at Steinhagen-Brockhagen and succeeded in several riding tests and dressage competitions for young horses. His offspring is impressive with good tallness, nice top line, strong and correct bones and three excellent and extreme balanced movements, all combined with wonderful character and temperament. Alter Fritz’s sire premium stallion Chardonnay was reserve champion of the Bundeschampionship at Warendorf and the Trakehner dressage champion in 1995. Chardonnay, who was in his years the most successful young dressage horse of the whole of Germany, represents the very well known and highly reputated sire line of Rockefeller and Consul, which has a great influence in all German breeds as well. On the mothers side Alter Fritz is also featured with the best bloodlines. His dam Agatha Christie (state premium mare) is the actual reserve champion of the regional broodmare show in Rheinland-Pfalz 1994 and won the, I b-prize at the national broodmare show at Warendorf. State Premium mare Arena IV is a daughter by the champion sire Seeadler. This son of Habicht produced a lot of good breeding as well as good sports horses. His sire Habicht, a son of Burnus, was known as a really successful eventer and has left a big impact on the Trakehner breed today. Also on the dam’s side the popular sires Argument, Arsenal, Aron and Argonaut can be named.Chabrol’s mother Cinzana was reserve champion of her central grading and show and took part successfully at the national Trakehner mare show. She is a big powerful (trot 10) mare with noble type and highly recommended dressage abilities. Her full sister Countess produced with her daughters Chamonix, Carrara, Courage and Casablanca four supreme champions of their show.

Chabrol’s mother line of Cajenne is originally the same as that of Caprimond, and Cajenne’s daughter Cornelia founded that new branch of this highly proven bloodline, which is entering more and more the centre of the whole Trakehner breed.  Chabrol is very closely related to the premium stallion Chateauneuf.  

Habari is out of Hawaii, which is by the Trakehner stallion Pascal (now deceased).

He was a very noble and very impressive grandson of Donauwind – a real gentleman.

Pascal was champion of his performance test and performed in his younger years with high success in show jumping and three-day-event on a national level. He always passed on his kind and willing character and his off spring are well known for being easy to train and ride. His mother line is known as one of the most proven families within the trakehner breed and produced the international dressage stars TNC Partout and the Olympic dressage stallion Peron. Pascal himself was nearly a full brother to Anky Von Grunsven’s Grand Prix dressage stallion TNC Partout.  

 Hawaii’s Dam Herzblatt was for many years well known, as one of the highest quality mares of the whole Trakehner breed, becoming Champion mare of the German Trakehners Bundesschau. Herzblatt also got a 10 for movement and produced the graded son Heinrich der Love, who became a top class show jumper. Herzblatt’s dam Elite mare Herzchen produced Herzruf a leading Sire of top broodmares and high talented dressage horses. Her 2^nd graded son Hirtenruf became Reserve Champion of his grading. Herzchen has produced many Champion mares and graded sons with very high marks for movement and conformation. Herzblatt’s Sire Seeadler is very famous for stamping his off spring and high quality producing daughters, as for exsample Regatta, dam of Monica Theodorescu’s International dressage star and when competing before her accident the wonderful Olympic hope Renaissance Fleur TSF. 

Singing Habari has fantastic comformation and impresses with his wonderful loose movements. He will make a fantastic sports horse and is a real stunning boy.
