Just
one more time and then never again I promised Gypsy as she was retired
from breeding but I just wanted that little filly to keep and remember
Gypsy by one day when she was gone. She was put to Chabrol as she had
given me three colts by Arentino so perhaps Chabrol could help get me
that filly I so wanted. And it happend a little brown and white girl was
born and Gypsy is now retired from breeding for good.
Gypsy Girl's sire Chabrol
comes from some very good bloodlines within the trakehner breed with
many Champions in hand, at gradings and under saddle. Chabrol himself is
a very tall and elegant stallion with the kindest temperament and most
wonderful movement having very high knee and hock action and has proven
to pass this on to his own children.
Gypsy Girl's dam Gypsy was
bought from a dealer and her pedigree is unknown but she has given us
some lovely foals and all been coloured to plain coloured stallions.
Gypsy Girl is staying here
with me (Marleen) to be my little fun horse and hopefully have a
coloured filly by either Arentino or Herbstglanz one day to carrie on
the bloodlines of Gypsy on a sentimental note.
