Bo’s Sire Arentino was competed in Prix St. George dressage and
did also really well in show jumping. Arentino’s Sire Santiago by
Wie Ibikus and out of the foundation mare Schwalbelied was Champion of
his grading in 1980 and was a very substantial big framed grandson of
the legendary stallion Ibikus, which went on to become a very good show
jumper.
Wie Ibikus himself produced a big number of high successful dressage horses
competing up to Grand Prix. Santiago produced some outstanding broodmares
and the value can be seen in his offspring’s competition results. Arentino’s Dam E.St Arktis II presents herself as one of the more valuable broodmares of the Trakehner breed, being a full sister to the stallion Arogno, sire of the stallions Schwadroneur (now dead) and Anky’s stallion Partout. E.St Arktis’s offspring are doing well in 3-day eventing and dressage competing in Prix St. Georges. Meister Bo's dam Holme Grove Madonna is by the stallion Pascal champion of his performance test and performed in his younger years with high success in show jumping and three-day-event on a national level. His mother line is known as one of the most proven families of the Trakehner bred and produced the dressage stars like Anky von Grunsven’s Grand Prix stallion Partout and the Olympic bronze winner Peron nearly a full brother to Partout. Madonna’s dam Marcella is by the stallion Postmeister, which sire competed in Grand Prix dressage. Postmeister dominating position as a dressage sire has been proven through a big number of high successful competition horses like Dr. Klimke’s international stars, Pia, Tango, Harmonie. This bloodline is well known for passing on good size, big frame with powerful and elastic movements and in a certain sense very athletic and noble horses. Meister Bo is a stunning colt with good elevated movements and that look at me factor, he is very smart and a joy to look at when trotting around the field. He also has a wonderful canter. Bo should be able to go on in any phase with these wonderful all purpose bloodlines. |
