Hernando is growing and I am positive he will make 16h or even 16'1, he has grown so much since arriving at our yard. He is now bitted in a french link snaffle and made no fuss about it at all, I just put the bridle on him while he was being groomed so he could get used to it in a relaxed environment, I did this for a week and then I lunged him with the bridle, lunging caveson and a roller and he was good as gold and this week I have introduced side reins and he goes brilliantly.

We introduced him with the other horses and he has been accepted into the gang and is great friends with Prankster.

Hernando is such a star and I am so thrilled with him. I can put all different types of rugs on him, he has Woof boots on when he goes out in the field, Polo bandages when he lunges, I have had a roller on him while I have been grooming him!

I have started lunging him and he now can walk, trot and halt very nicely, but we just do 10min at the moment. He is great friends with our pony Prankster who he goes out with in the small paddock and next week he will go out with the other geldings into the big field.
